What is CR4AT?

Community Research for Assistive Technology (CR4AT) is a five-year, community-based research program by and for people with disabilities in California.  CFILC directs the project which is funded by a grant from the National Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research. The goal of the project is to increase the capacity of the independent living community to work with its members and stakeholders to collect research data on access and use of AT to improve the lives of people with disabilities. We seek to empower people with disabilities at the consumer level to directly participate in research that will increase their independence through Assistive Technology. For more information on the CR4AT project visit the project website at  www.cr4at.org
