The California Foundation for Independent Living Centers is dedicated to addressing public policy issues that affect the Disability Community.  In September 2005, our Board of Directors set the overarching priorities for CFILC that influence our policy development and priorities.  Those standards for priotitization include Olmstead implementation and development, issues that are state-wide, that have a significant impact on the lives of people with disabilities and that relate to multiple disabilities.  Fundamental issues currently being addressed include:
